Job Skills & Qualifications

· Minimum 2 Years warehouse or manufacturing experience

· Good analytical skills with attention to detail given

· IT literate with the ability to understand a computerised stock system

· Counterbalance/ Multi-Directional Forklift License preferred

· Effective at communicating both verbally and written

· Comfortable working in a fast paced and efficient warehouse

Shropshire stainless and Aluminium Ltd (SSA) is a large UK multi-metals stockholder of stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and bronze products. Selling to a large range of customer’s right across a varied supply chain, we deliver to the whole of the UK and Ireland from our Shrewsbury Headquarters with additional Locations in Yate Near Bristol & Lurgan in Northern Ireland

You will be working from our Lurgan site as part of an experienced warehouse team, cutting and preparing materials to customer specific specifications.

Job Responsibilities

· Continuous running of machinery under your control (Plate Saw, Bar Saw, Guillotine, Polycoating)

· Following maintenance plans set out for machinery

· Kitting of jobs as per the Works Order to the floor

· Ensuring work area is always clean and tidy

· Assisting in regular stock cycle counts

Supplying a large range of customers across a varied supply chain, we deliver to the whole of the UK and Ireland from our Shrewsbury Headquarters with additional locations in Yate near Bristol & Lurgan in Northern Ireland .

You will be working from our Shrewsbury site as part of an experienced warehouse team, cutting and preparing materials to customer specifications.

Job Skills & Qualifications

·       Counterbalance / Multi-Directional Forklift Licence (advantageous)

·       Effective verbal and written communication

Job Responsibilities

·       Efficient operation of cutting and coating machinery including:
Plate Saw, Bar Saw, Guillotine and Poly Coating

·       Kitting jobs to works order

·       Basic Operator Machine Maintenance

·       Active Participation in 5S Programme

·       Active Participation in regular stock cycle counts

2-week Shift Rotation

·       Week 1 & Week 2 – Monday – Friday 6.00am to 2:30pm

·       Week 3 & Week 4 – Monday – Friday 12.00pm to 20.30pm

·       40 Hours per week, Permanent Position
